Assault and Property Damage Charges Withdrawn | Paul E. Briggs Law Case Result

The Allegation

 

The client was charged with assaulting an indivisaul and damaging that person’s vehicle. The allegations arose from an incident involving a dispute and included both an offence against the person and an allegation of property damage.  

 

Defence Advocacy

 

Paul E. Briggs reviewed the circumstances surrounding the incident and gathered relevant information concerning the alleged conduct. Detailed representations were then made to Crown counsel addressing the available information, the surrounding circumstances, and the appropriate resolution of the case.

 

The Result

 

After considering the defence submissions, Crown counsel agreed not to proceed with the prosecution. All charges against the client were withdrawn.

 

The client did not receive a criminal conviction or a criminal record arising from these allegations.
